Strategy & Transformation Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategy & Transformation Manager to help shape the strategic direction of Icelandair and drive execution of key initiatives across the business. You will work closely with senior leadership to solve complex problems, prioritize opportunities, and ensure strategy translates into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development of corporate strategy and strategic priorities
• Partner with leadership to plan, drive, and oversee strategic transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with company priorities
• Act as a thought partner to stakeholders, challenging assumptions and promoting fact-based decision-making
• Identify bottlenecks and risks and proactively work with stakeholders to resolve them
• Prepare insights, recommendations, and materials for senior leadership and the Board
• Identify business development opportunities and conduct market analysis
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and workshops to support decision-making
• Manage transformation plans, milestones, risks, and progress tracking
• Support change management and ensure effective executions

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or ≥3 years’ relevant experience (consulting, strategy, transformation, analyst, lawyer, engineer, or other)
• Willingness to learn
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Proven project management and stakeholder management ability
• Highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Self-driven and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
