Software Engineer
CookieHub is a global consent management platform (CMP) helping organizations comply with GDPR, CCPA, IAB frameworks, and other privacy regulations. Our systems process millions of events daily, and we are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team at our offices in Reykjanesbær, Iceland to help us build, maintain, and scale our platform.

Develop, test, and deploy new features across the CookieHub platform.

Debug complex issues and perform root cause analysis for production systems.

Maintain SDKs, APIs, and third-party integrations.

Create and update documentation (install guides, API docs, FAQs, compliance guides).

Support enterprise client onboarding with technical expertise.

Collaborate with product, DevOps, and support teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Manage and optimize the CookieHub website and platform integrations.

Strong background in software engineering (JavaScript, PHP and TypeScript).

Experience with web frameworks (React and Laravel).

Familiarity with API development and integration.

Knowledge of CI/CD, testing, and deployment pipelines.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Experience with SaaS or privacy-focused platforms is a plus.
