
Senior Developer
Stock Analysis (stockanalysis.com) is an Iceland-based global stock data and information website. Each month, millions of investors use our platform to explore financial data, keep up to date on the markets, utilize our suite of investing tools, and more. To support our growth, we’re looking for an experienced developer to help us scale our platform and build new features. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled senior developer with full-stack knowledge who is adept at problem-solving, learns quickly, has an eye for user experience, and thrives in a small but fast-paced setting.
This is a full-time position offering a hybrid (both in-office and remote) work environment.

Implement front- and back-end features

Maintenance and update tasks

Work closely with a small team of fellow developers

Ensure the site is fast, reliable, and scalable across devices

Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy

5+ years of experience working as a developer

A degree in Computer Science or a related field

Full-stack knowledge and experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks

Good English skills; Icelandic is nice to have, but not mandatory

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Interest in being part of a small team at a growing startup

Previous experience working at a web dev agency

A keen eye for user experience

Prior work with high-traffic websites, mobile apps, and/or large-scale data systems

Familiarity with databases, APIs, and cloud services

Experience with SvelteKit, Cloudflare, Snowflake, and/or PlanetScale

Knowledge of financial markets, investing, or fintech platforms
