

Radiographer - Exciting opportunity at the Breast Centre at Landspitali - University Hospital of Iceland
We are seeking an ambitious Radiographer to join our team in the screening and diagnostic imaging department at the Breast Centre at Landspitali. The position is daytime only, Monday through Friday.
The screening and diagnostic imaging department at the Breast Centre at Landspitali provides breast screening, diagnostic breast imaging and radiation protection services.
The standard full-time workweek is 36 hours, with the aim of promoting employee health and wellbeing while supporting a better work-life balance.
Employment percentage are negotiable.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out all mammography techniques both in screening and diagnostic imaging (X-ray images of the breasts and clinical examinations) whilst ensuring that the clients receive a caring and sensitive service.

Travel part time of the year throughout Iceland to perform screening mammography examinations.

Undertake specialized duties as required within the department.

Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate documentation in the department's information systems.

Contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide the highest standard of patient care
Qualifications

A valid license to practice as a Radiographer in Iceland

Previous experience in breast imaging is highly valued
