Crowberry Capital is looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join our team in Reykjavík. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and analyzing the financial data that drives our investment decisions and portfolio management. You will work closely with our investment and operations teams to ensure our data infrastructure is robust, accurate, and insightful. We are a venture capital firm dedicated to supporting early-stage technology startups across the Nordics, focusing on sectors like Deep Tech, Health Tech, Energy Tech, AI and other sectors. - Develop and generate financial models, reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and portfolio trends.
- Maintain and optimize our internal databases to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to uncover untapped investment opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reports.
- Collaborate with the legal and investment teams to streamline data-driven workflows and processes.
- Assist in the implementation of new data management tools and agentic workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Proven experience in financial data modelling, or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and data management software.
- Ability to use agentic solutions and vibe code.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced venture capital environment.
- Interest in the Nordic startup ecosystem and mission-driven technology.
- Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or similar education.
- Experience with data visualization platforms, like Looker Studio or Power BI, is a benefit but not a requirement.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for strategic decision making.
