Wisefish Ráðgjafi / Consultant

Við erum að stækka teymið — lestu meira hér að neðan. Umsóknir og samskipti fara fram á ensku.

We're looking for a Wisefish Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be a trusted advisor to seafood companies implementing or upgrading our business solution, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You'll play a hands-on role across the full customer journey — from onboarding and configuration to ongoing support and success.

We're open to candidates at different stages of their career. Whether you come with deep domain experience, a background in the seafood industry, or a strong foundation you're ready to build on — if you're curious, driven, and passionate about making a difference for our customers, we want to hear from you.

This role may involve deployment to international customer projects. Reykjavík-based preferred, open to remote.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in implementation and upgrade projects — requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live
  • Configure the Wisefish solution based on our best practice template, tailored to the customer's role in the seafood value chain
  • Onboard new customers with training, documentation, and hands-on guidance
  • Deliver post-project managed services and day-to-day support within defined SLAs
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact — troubleshooting, answering questions, helping customers get continued value
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and product teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer outcomes and evolve our delivery practices

What You Bring

  • A degree in business, IT, engineering, fisheries science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • Some exposure to business systems — vendor side, implementation partner, or as a user/project participant
  • A background or genuine interest in the seafood industry — fishing, aquaculture, processing, trade, or any part of the value chain
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong advantage, but willingness to learn matters most
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into practical solutions
  • Strong written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus

How You Work

  • Curious and service-oriented — you genuinely want to understand customers' business
  • A confident communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Structured and detail-oriented, managing multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Collaborative — shares knowledge and supports colleagues across functions
  • Pragmatic problem-solver, calm and solution-focused under pressure
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to grow
