Human Factors Lead

Alvotech is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Factors Lead to join our innovative Combination Products and Devices team. In this role, you will ensure product design validation and apply your expertise in human factors (HF) to various projects. You will provide HF input through expert reviews and technical memos, oversee primary user analyses, and draft validation plans and reports. You'll also be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of HF studies, contributing to process improvements, and assisting in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintaining and developing your knowledge in human factors will be essential, along with staying up to date on regulations related to the combination of drug products. This position is ideal if you have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of HF principles, and a passion for user-centered design in medical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Design Validation – Ensure the validation of product design.
  • Human Factors (HF) Input – Provide expert reviews and technical memos for projects.
  • Documentation & Analysis – Draft or oversee primary user analysis, Design Validation Plans, protocols, reports, and HF Engineering reports.
  • Execution of HF Studies – Oversee and ensure proper execution of human factors studies.
  • Process Improvements & SOPs – Contribute to improvements and assist in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Expert Knowledge Development – Maintain and develop expertise in human factors.
  • Regulatory Knowledge – Stay informed on regulations related to combination drug products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of independence and accountability.
  • Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain.
  • Experience with internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and hands-on approach.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
