Chef

We are looking for a chef to work at Systrakaffi in Kirkjubæjarklaustur, a small village in the south side of Iceland.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled chef/cook who is passionate about quality food and their work, who has a positive attitude and is able to work in a good team.

About the work:

• Starting date is May 2026
• Full time work
• Shifts are 2-2-3

We are looking for someone who:

• has completed chef training or culinary school
• works well under pressure
• speaks English fluently
• experience of cooking is required

Main duties:

• preperation for a la carte
• cook and serve quality meals
• keeping kitchen enviroment clean
• manage stock
• collaborate with kitchen staff
