

24/7 Customer Care Representative
Are you a service-minded professional who thrives in a dynamic environment? Iceland Travel is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable team member to join our 24/7 Customer Care Team in Reykjavík. As a crucial link between travellers and their unforgettable Icelandic experience, you’ll play an essential role in supporting customers around the clock.
This is a shift-based role with 12-hour shifts on a 5/5/4 rotation (07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00), offering you extended time off between rotations to recharge.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls from travellers, suppliers, and partners
- Respond to e-mails and process bookings
- Handle unforeseen changes to travel plans
- Monitor weather and safety conditions
- Share information clearly and efficiently
- Support departments with various tasks as needed
What we’re looking for
- You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving problems
- You’re able to work independently and take initiative
- You have excellent communication and customer service skills
- You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Speaking Icelandic or another language is a plus
- You have strong computer skills and are confident using travel-related systems
- Experience in the travel industry is an advantage
