Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and solution-oriented leader with exceptional communication skills to take on the role of Store Manager for our KEF Airport stores. As a Store Manager at Rammagerðin, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the stores, guided by the company's strategy and objectives. One of your key responsibilities will be leading, supporting, and training the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service that reflects our commitment to Icelandic design excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Store Management & Operations: Oversee all aspects of store operations ensuring smooth daily functioning
• Customer Relations & Service: Maintain the highest standards of customer service, particularly for our international clientele (90%+ tourists)
• Sales & Inventory Management: Take ownership of sales targets, inventory control, and service objectives
• Team Leadership: Manage staff scheduling, recruitment, and team development
• Brand Representation: Ensure our stores reflects Rammagerðin's reputation as Iceland's premier design destination

Requirements & Qualifications Essential Skills

• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities
• Strong service mindset with a positive attitude
• Initiative, independence, and excellent organizational skills
• Fluent in both Icelandic and English (essential for serving international customers)

Preferred Experience

• Previous management experience in retail or business operations
• Experience in customer service and business operations
• Knowledge of Business Central and or strong software usage skills
• Understanding of Icelandic design and culture is a plus
