Senior Customer Solution Architect
PLAIO builds AI-native supply chain planning software for pharmaceutical companies. We’re scaling and looking for a Senior Technical Consultant who will be the technical authority in our customer implementations – and someone who actively uses AI to work smarter, move faster, and raise the bar on what great implementation looks like.
As Senior Technical Consultant, you’ll be the technical authority in our implementations – the person customers trust when things get complex, and the person internally who drives how we approach integrations and data across the whole CS team. You’ll work directly with customers alongside our CSMs, taking the lead on the technical side of implementations from scoping through go-live. You’ll also serve as the link between our customers and development team, translating real-world customer needs into technical clarity and making sure what we build works in practice. We’re an AI-first company and that’s not a tagline – it shapes how we build, how we sell, and how we deliver. You’ll be expected to bring that same mindset to implementations: using AI tools actively, experimenting with new approaches, and helping define what the next generation of technical consulting looks like.
- Be the technical lead on customer implementations, working closely with CSMs across the full delivery lifecycle
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout the implementation journey
- Own all integration and data discussions with customers, from pre-sales through go-live
- Set clear technical expectations with customers and guide them to clean go-lives.
- Scope data requirements, map source systems, validate data quality, and ensure clean go-lives
- Work closely with our development team on integrations and data onboarding, bridging the gap between product and customer reality
- Continuously improve the technical standards and practices the CS team works from
- Solid experience in a customer-facing technical role – implementation consulting, solution architecture, technical pre-sales, or similar
- Strong understanding of integrations (APIs, ETL/ELT, file-based data exchange) and data management
- Comfortable leading technical conversations at any level, from IT teams to C-suite
- Experience delivering data migrations or system integrations in a B2B or enterprise environment
- Actively uses AI tools in your day-to-day work and is always looking for where you can go further – this is a core expectation, not a nice-to-have
- A genuine drive to keep learning: new tools, new methods, new ways of solving old problems – in your own work and in how the team operates
- Excellent communicator in English; Icelandic is a plus
- Experience in pharma, supply chain, or manufacturing is a bonus

Pharmaceutical supply chains run on data and when a customer adopts PLAIO, you’ll lead the technical effort to make that data flow. Together with our development, product, and customer success team, you’ll shape how integrations and data onboarding come together – helping pharmaceutical companies plan more effectively. You’ll also be at the frontier of how AI is changing technical consulting in enterprise software – and you’ll have the space and expectation to push that forward.
