Seasonal Staff Wanted – West Rangá Lodge (Summer 2026)

West Rangá River is one of the finest salmon rivers in Iceland, and our lodge welcomes anglers from around the world each summer. We are looking for two enthusiastic seasonal staff members to join our team at West Rangá Lodge from mid-June to the end of September.

We are hiring for the following roles:

1. Housekeeping & Service

Cleaning and preparing guest rooms
Maintaining lodge facilities and guest areas
Assisting with table service and helping ensure guests have an excellent dining experience

2. Kitchen & Breakfast Shifts

Preparing and serving breakfast for lodge guests during morning shifts
Being responsible for the breakfast service and ensuring everything runs smoothly
Assisting the chef with food preparation during kitchen shifts
Dishwashing and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
Helping with general kitchen and lodge cleaning

Responsibilities

Providing warm, professional service to ensure guests have an excellent stay
Taking food and beverage orders and serving meals and drinks
Preparing and serving breakfast during assigned shifts
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and welcoming lodge environment at all times
Taking initiative and helping where needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Working closely with colleagues and supporting each other as a team
Contributing to a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff
Being professional, reliable, hardworking, and kind in all interactions with guests and colleagues
Helping ensure that every guest leaves with a memorable and enjoyable experience
