R&D Innovation Excellence Specialist | Össur
We are looking for a curious and hands-on professional to join our Innovation Excellence team and support key transformation initiatives across R&D for a temporary one-year position.
In this role, you will help strengthen how data, engineering and sustainability come together to support better product development decisions. You will work across teams to identify opportunities, develop practical solutions, and contribute to the implementation of new digital capabilities that improve how information is used throughout the product development process.
A key focus of the role will be exploring how engineering, material and sustainability information can be made more accessible and actionable through modern data, analytics and AI-enabled approaches.

Lead and support transformation initiatives related to engineering methods, sustainability and digital capabilities.

Work with stakeholders across R&D, IT and business functions to understand needs and identify improvement opportunities.

Analyse and structure engineering and business data to support decision making.

Contribute to the development of new data, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.

Support the creation of tools, processes and ways of working that improve how information is used throughout product development.

Help evaluate and pilot innovative technologies that can create value for engineers and product teams.

Translate complex technical topics into practical solutions that can be successfully adopted by teams.
You may come from a background in engineering, data science, materials science, sustainability, digital transformation or a related field. We are particularly interested in candidates with:

Experience working with technical or engineering-related data.
