Technical Producer
CCP Games is looking for a driven Technical Producer to enable game teams to realize their vision.
You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers dedicated to enhancing the foundations of our game editor, authoring tools, and the broader suite of shared technology tooling. Working closely with teams across the studios and the Platform product discipline, you will help define and drive the product roadmap - ensuring your team’s efforts align with company wide needs and empower developers throughout CCP.
Reporting directly to the Lead Technical Producer of Platform, you will be responsible for providing clear updates on progress, risks, and deliverables related to technical projects, as well as tracking and communicating technical product metrics. Beyond your production responsibilities you will also lead performance management for your team of engineers, working closely with discipline directors to support career development, foster a culture of growth and ensure team health and cohesion.
The position is located in Reykjavík, Iceland.
Your Tasks:
- Play a key role in shaping your team’s roadmap and be responsible for delivering on it.
- Clearly communicate and report on plans, progress, risks, and outcomes of technical projects to stakeholders and across the wider organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deconstruct complex requirements into actionable tasks for developers.
- Proactively advocate for improvements in tools, processes, and team culture - boldly challenging norms that hinder performance, quality, engagement, or wellbeing.
- Cultivate a collaborative and supportive environment among engineers and team members to deliver exceptional applications for our developers.
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production role with a strong focus on technical domains.
- Proven ability to articulate a vision, inspire others to rally behind it, and empower teams to deliver on strategic goals.
- Skilled in translating complex technical needs into clear requirements when working with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong track record of proactively identifying risks and potential blockers that may impact delivery timelines.
- Effective at leveraging subject matter experts to scope and estimate work accurately, and communicating high-level summaries to stakeholders.
- Adept at influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders, even without direct reporting lines.
- Solid understanding of game development processes.
- Nice to have: Experience with the development or use of game engine editors such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
What We Can Offer You:
- The inspiring opportunity of working in cooperation with amazingly talented and enthusiastic colleagues.
- A multicultural work environment that encourages growth, creativity, and innovation.
- A flexible hybrid work environment with a dual workstation setup.
