Team Leader in Sales

We are looking for someone who loves Iceland, loves selling, and brings real enthusiasm and energy to everything they do. As our Team Leader in Sales, you will work across the travel brands, Iceland Unlimited and Iceland Tours, helping our travel consultants grow and succeed. You will report directly to the brand CEO and work closely with the product development and marketing teams, with real influence on how both brands develop commercially.

You will lead through initiative and encouragement, working hands-on with the team of 10, and getting people genuinely excited about new ideas.

Key Responsibilities

• Support our team and help them build stronger relationships with customers, so they can perform at their best

• Take the initiative in leading the team on sales approaches and strategy

• Test new sales approaches, tools and processes, including AI, follow through with the team, and share what works

• Work closely with the CEO and product development team to align sales efforts with the wider direction of both brands

• Track sales results together and find ways to keep improving as a team

• Stay current with travel trends and Iceland tourism developments to keep our sales approach sharp

What We're Looking For

• Solid sales experience and a real drive to perform

• A natural motivator, someone who encourages and works alongside the team

• Curious about AI and the opportunities it brings, with a genuine openness to new tools and ways of working

• Comfortable with change, loves a dynamic, fast paced atmosphere, and not afraid to try new things

• Knowledge of Iceland's tourism industry is a strong advantage

• Strong communication skills in English, Icelandic is a plus
