Airport Associates, an independent ground handling service company at Keflavík Airport, is looking for individuals for summer jobs with the possibility of permanent work after the summer. All positions are based on shift work.

All new employees must undergo some training. The employment period will be from March-May until the end of September/October 2024.

To qualify for a job at Airport Associates, you must have good communication skills, and be service-minded, punctual and flexible. Good English skills and a driver's license are required for all positions. Experience in the field of ground handling is an advantage for the job.

All applicants must have a clean criminal record and speak English fluently.

Passenger services

Full-time and part-time positions are available for general passenger handling such as check-in, boarding, service desk etc. To qualify for the job, candidates must have experience working in customer service. Passenger Service Agents must have excellent communication skills in English, and be very service-minded and flexible. Good computer skills are essential for the job.

Ramp handling

The Ramp Handling Agent's main tasks are loading and off-loading luggage and cargo to and from the aircraft as well as driving and operating machines on the ramp. To qualify for the job, our agents must have a valid driver's license and good communication skills in English.

Aircraft cleaning & security

The Aircraft Cleaning and Security department offers services to our customers such as cleaning airplanes, deep cleaning and security searching of airplanes. They also take care of cleaning the company facilities. Our agents must have valid driver's licenses, be able to drive at the airport and have good communication skills in English.

Cargo warehouse

Screening cargo, buildup/breakdown, reception and air freight delivery in the warehouse. Our Cargo Agents must have good computer skills, valid driver's licenses and experience working on a forklift is a plus. A machine operation license is preferable.

Canteen

General kitchen work, salad bar preparation, assistance with cooking, washing dishes, etc. Experience in similar jobs is desirable. The working hours are 08:00-15:30, and the role is available from June 10th - August 16th. A valid driver's license is needed for the role.

Maintenance

General maintenance and repair of flight handling equipment as well as car repairs. A driver's license is required and a machine license is an advantage. Experience in similar jobs is an advantage.
