Producer

CCP Iceland is looking for an experienced Producer with a passion for video games and game development.

You will be responsible for leading a dedicated feature team in the development and delivery of new features and content for the live game of EVE Online. This will require people and project leadership skills as you will be working across multiple departments such as Development, Publishing and Shared Tech to deliver the final result.

Your Tasks:

• Lead the production and project management duties for your team. Responsible for quality and timely delivery, responding to post release feedback and polish, and follow up of features
• Own & deliver production plans for your team and projects. Ensure clarity of strategy and goals to ensure buy in on all levels
• Consistent and clear communication of project status, timelines, risks and mitigations to Senior Production and Leadership
• Eliminate roadblocks in processes and people to keep your team doing what they do best; making awesome features that provide value to our players
• Ensure the overall quality of the features delivered is up to our standards to deliver on goals
• Be the direct line manager to the multi-discipline members of your team responsible for performance and career growth

Your Profile:

• 3-5 years production and management experience within the video game industry with at least 1 shipped or live supported title. Bonus points for experience working on a Live Operated game!
• Strong understanding and ability of development practices, goal setting, decision making, and conveying the strategic relevance behind a project
• Natural team leadership qualities that can lead a team on a journey to create high quality gaming experience for the players of EVE Online
• Proven ability to effectively partner with cross-functional disciplines. Able to influence effectively where there is no direct authority
• Experience of working on games within the Free to Play model
• A great communicator; able to communicate an ambitious vision and speak to a diverse group of people in a dynamic and diverse culture
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
