Hótel Jökulsárlón er nýtt hótel sem áætlað er að opni sumarið 2024. Hótelið er einungis 10km frá Jökulsárlóni og verður 120 herbergja gæðahótel með veitingastað, bar, líkamsrækt og heitum pottum og sauna á útisvæði. Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on, organized, and service-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our daily cleaning operations. You will inspect guest rooms and public areas, train team members, and ensure our property meets the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces to ensure quality standards are met.
Supervise, train, and support daily housekeeping staff.
Manage cleaning supply inventory and report maintenance issues promptly.
Coordinate daily room assignments and manage daily operations.
Handle guest requests and resolve any cleaning complaints quickly and professionally.
Enforce safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Cooperate closely with maintenance and reception.

Educational and skill requirements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in hospitality.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of safe chemical handling and professional cleaning equipment.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physically capable of performing light physical tasks, including lifting up to 25kg and prolonged standing, walking, reaching, crouching, and carrying items.
