Hotel Von is a new boutique hotel with 52 rooms located on Laugavegur 55, the main shopping street, downtown Reykjavik.

Front Desk Reception - (Summer Job)

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic staff member to join us for two months this summer, from end of May to end of July, as a Front Desk Receptionist.

Working hours a mix of day shifts (08:00 - 20:00), and night shifts (20:00 - 08:00).

Requirements:

Punctuality
Hands-on experience with office equipment
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Good customer service
Experience in hotels is an advantage
Icelandic language skills is an advantage

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
Manage online and phone reservations
Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
Register guests collecting necessary information (contact details and exact dates of their stay)
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
