Chef for a Culinary Adventure
Berunes Restaurant is a small, family-run gem in East Iceland, known for its warm hospitality, creative use of local ingredients, and stunning surroundings. We’ve built a strong reputation for offering one of the most memorable dining experiences in the region.
This summer, we’re looking for a passionate and self-reliant chef to take on a hands-on culinary project with us. You’ll lead our small kitchen, plan seasonal menus, and cook beautiful food with freedom and flair — all in close collaboration with our team.
The stint is temporary, starting preferably on July 1st and ideally running into September. We’re flexible on exact dates, and the experience suits someone looking for a short adventure or break from the usual.
Our culinary approach is inspired by Forréttabarinn in Reykjavík. Its owner, Róbert Ólafsson, is from Berunes and co-owns the business, guiding the restaurant with regular hands-on involvement.
