Administrative employee

Spes Seafood ehf. is looking for a motivated and accurate Administrative Employee to join our team in Sandgerði.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily administrative operations of the company, including processing goods flow in the ERP system, preparing export documentation, maintaining communication with logistics partners, and supporting operational administration.

You will work closely with production, logistics, and management to ensure smooth and efficient operations within a dynamic seafood environment.

We are looking for someone who is structured, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational setting.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Processing purchase, production, and sales transactions in the ERP system
  • Preparing and handling export and transport documentation
  • Maintaining daily communication with logistics and transport partners
  • Supporting operational and general administrative activities
  • Performing administrative checks and quality registrations
  • Ensuring accurate and complete data within the ERP system
  • Supporting smooth coordination between operations, logistics, and administration
Educational and skill requirements
  • Experience in an administrative or operational support role is considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus)
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Accurate, structured, and able to work independently
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
