We are looking for responsible and service-minded individuals to join our team at a brand new geothermal bathing destination opening in the heart of Laugarás. This role is diverse and dynamic, with a strong focus on guest safety, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of guests and oversee compliance with all safety regulations.

Monitor bathing areas, locker rooms, and other facilities.


 - 

Provide courteous and professional guidance and information to guests.


 - 

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and overall facility upkeep.


 - 

Respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations and provide first aid if necessary.



Qualifications and Skills


 - 

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.


 - 

Education or experience relevant to the role is an advantage but not required.

Valid first aid certification is required, or willingness to complete first aid training.


 - 

Strong ability to react quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.

Sales and booking representative

We are looking for a Sales &amp; Booking Representative to join us in building and shaping the guest journey at Laugarás Lagoon, a brand-new geothermal bathing destination opening soon in the heart of Laugarás – where nature, wellbeing, and unforgettable experiences come together.

In this versatile role, you will handle bookings and inquiries from guests, travel agents, and partners. You’ll manage reservations and sales systems while ensuring that every guest interaction is warm, professional, and contributes to an outstanding overall experience.


Key Responsibilities


 - Handling bookings and guest inquiries via phone, email, and booking systems

 - Managing sales platforms and daily reservation processes

 - Presenting and promoting the company’s services and experiences

 - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners

 - Communicating with both domestic and international customers

 - Participating in promotional events and campaigns when needed

 - Collaborating across teams and departments to ensure a seamless customer journey

 - General administrative tasks related to bookings and sales



Qualifications &amp; Experience


 - Experience in sales and/or booking coordination is an advantage

 - Strong computer skills (e.g. booking systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office)

 - Excellent Icelandic and English skills, both written and spoken (other languages a plus)

 - Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service

 - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and structured in your work

 - Positive attitude, drive, and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
