

Head of Technology and Digital Development
The Role
This is a new position created to bring technology leadership in-house. We need someone who can step in, assess what we have, and take ownership, not just of our systems, but of how we think about technology as a business.
This is a hybrid role: part strategist, part builder. You’ll set the direction for how technology supports our operations and growth, but you’ll also roll up your sleeves when needed. You’ll have the support and expertise of our global IT team to draw upon as you tackle challenges and drive innovation in an international environment. The right person is someone who thrives in a hands-on role while thinking strategically about what comes next.
Automation & AI
This is the heart of the role. We want someone who sees every manual process as an opportunity. You’ll identify where automation, AI tools, and intelligent workflows can transform how we operate from guest experience to internal reporting to operational decision-making. You should be deeply curious about what’s possible with modern AI tooling and eager to bring that into a hospitality context.
Systems & Integrations
We run several core platforms, our website, payment systems, and booking flow. You’ll own these in close collaboration with our global IT team and, more importantly, own how the systems talk to each other. The goal is a connected, automated ecosystem rather than a collection of standalone tools.

Drive data integrity, actionable reporting, and digital innovation to empower informed decisions and deliver seamless, secure guest experiences.

A strong instinct for automation, you naturally spot inefficiencies and think in workflows, not workarounds

Genuine enthusiasm for AI and modern tooling, with practical experience applying these in a business context

Hands-on technical ability, you can configure, integrate, and troubleshoot systems yourself, not just delegate

Experience connecting platforms through APIs, middleware, and automation tools

Strong understanding of data, reporting, and how to make information actionable

Clear communication skills, you can translate technical possibilities into business language for non-technical stakeholders

A track record of reducing operational complexity through smarter systems and processes
Bonus if you have

Experience in hospitality, tourism, or leisure industries

Familiarity with Recreatex or similar leisure management platforms
