Front Desk Agent

We are looking for a motivated, service-driven front desk agent to join our team. This is a fast-paced customer-facing role for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and going the extra mile to deliver excellent service.

The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, sales-minded, and comfortable working a 2-2-3 shift pattern, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as needed.

  • Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle vehicle reservations, rentals, returns, and extensions

  • Explain rental terms, insurance options, and additional services clearly

  • Complete rental agreements and process payments accurately

  • Inspect vehicles at pick-up and return, recording any damage or issues

  • Coordinate with the operations, cleaning, and fleet teams to ensure vehicles are ready on time

  • Respond to customer questions, concerns, and complaints efficiently and professionally

  • Upsell relevant products and services such as insurance upgrades, GPS, child seats, or additional driver options

  • Keep the reception area organized and maintain accurate customer and booking records

  • Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times

  • Drive customers to and from the airport when needed
Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur
  • Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, travel, or car rental is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for customers

  • Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy environment

  • Good computer skills and confidence using booking systems

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork and payments

  • Flexible and dependable, with willingness to work a 2-2-3 shift schedule

  • Good spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean criminal record
