Field Service Specialist

Are you ready to be a specialist for a global leader in food processing solutions?

As a Field Service Specialist – Inspection, you will play a key role in supporting the installation commissioning of advanced inspection equipment used by leading food producers worldwide. With an electrical focus and some mechanical knowledge, you’ll specialize in our inspection product line. Based in Garðabær, Iceland, you’ll combine on-site support with global travel, while contributing to our service excellence from our Garðabær office.

What you’ll be doing

• Specialize in JBT Marel’s Inspection product line (X-ray and vision utilizing structured light), becoming the go-to technical expert.

• Install and commission inspection systems at customer sites worldwide.

• Perform diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and corrective service work.

• Provide remote technical support to customers and colleagues.

• Train our field service engineers around the world.

• Write technical service documents and training material.

• Provide feedback on quality and operational efficiencies from the field for product and process improvements.

• Follow all JBT and customer safety requirements, working to the highest safety and quality standards.

About You

You are a skilled engineer with strong diagnostic ability. You thrive on both fieldwork and office-based support and enjoy global travel.
