
Database Administration Manager - Medis - 1 year contract
The opportunity
Are you strong in stakeholder management and have attention for detail? Then this role is for you! You will be working closely with business development to translate business needs into data solutions and drive alignment across multiple business functions. This is an individual contributor role, where you will be supporting an existing 2-person team onsite on a temporary 1-year basis.
How you will spend your day
In this role you will, among other, perform the following
- Managing database utilities
- Monitoring the relationships between database users and applications
- Maintaining the organization's databases across multiple platforms and computing environments.
- Maintaining database support tools, database tables and dictionaries, recovery and backup procedures
- Performing data modeling studies and developing detailed data models as well as maintaining data model and entity relationship diagrams
- Applying understanding of relational database concepts and query languages to design required summary or aggregation tables to support analyses
- Providing technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers (large, complex technical or business support)
- Collaborating with technology/infrastructure staff to identify data relationships and functional requirements
- Analyzing and resolving issues related to information flow and content
- Defining team operating standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed
- Change management, automation and process optimization
Your Skills and Experience
- You have finished your vocational training or have a degree ideally related to finance or business
- You are familiar with the IT-systems needed for the role, such as MDG, salesforce CRM, SAP ECC, Symfact or other
- You have a customer-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- You also have a high attention to detail, analytical problem-solving and operational excellence focus
- You bring your expertise in data governance
- You are fluent in English both written and spoke
