Assistant Lodge Service Manager
Deplar Farm is a 13-room luxury adventure lodge on the Troll Peninsula in northern Iceland, and is the flagship property of the Eleven Experience collection. Deplar Farm is not a conventional hotel. The property sits in a converted sheep farm at the edge of a fjord, surrounded by mountains. Guests arrive for heli-skiing, fly fishing, surfing, and off-road exploration. The service team plays a central role in the success of the guests’ experience.
We are looking for a service professional who knows how to read a room, run a floor, and develop a team. Someone who has worked closely with discerning guests, understands the rhythm of a lodge or vessel or private residence, and is ready to take on real responsibility in a remote environment.
The Role
The Assistant Lodge Service Manager works directly under the Lodge Service Manager and carries supervisory responsibility for all Lodge Staff. This is a hands-on leadership position. You will oversee food and beverage service across all meals and events, manage minibar and refreshment station operations, ensure outpost locations are prepared and stocked for daily guest itineraries, and execute the opening and closing of the lodge each day.
You will also carry responsibility for staff training and development, SOP maintenance, POS accuracy, and the overall consistency of the guest experience across every service touchpoint. You will work closely with the Experience Managers, culinary team, and housekeeping.
