The Reykjavik EDITION is looking for its next Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable Clerk and Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for ambitious full-staff. Good English is essential; further language skills are an advantage. The minimum age of the applicant is 20 years.

For Accounting Manager the main tasks will be:

  • Be the representative for accounting and finance queries within the office
  • General Office administration duties
  • Verify and reconcile daily transactions from all revenue-generating departments
  • Ongoing assessment, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management
  • Preparation of Accounting information

For Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • Processing incoming invoices and creating weekly payment runs
  • Checking incoming invoices in accordance with tax and legal requirements
  • Account assignment and posting of invoices in accordance with the Account Dictionary
  • Posting monthly accruals and balance sheet reconciliation of the posted accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Monitoring open supplier lists, performing vendor reconciliations

For Accounting Clerk:

  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
  • Processing incoming payments
  • Follow up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices
  • Organize, secure, and maintain credit agreements and guest credits
  • Posting monthly accruals and balance sheet reconciliation of the posted accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
