New colleague for Lava café in Vík from beginning of June
For our busy café in Vík, we are looking for new friend!
We are looking for someone who would like to stay with us for a longer term.
Our team is full of positive and friendly people that like to help each other so on that note it would be great to have another team players.
We are working long short week (system 2-2-3) currently and our shifts are usually from 8:00 to 19:30 o'clock in the café but sometimes in a month there are short shifts to attend. However, the contract is for a 100% full time job.
There is provided shared accommodation within walking distance to work (private room but shared kitchen and bathrooms) for a fee.
The main tasks that you will need to be able to do in the café are:
- preparing sandwiches, pastries, smoothies 🥯🥐🍌
- serving customers over the counter 😊
- making coffees and other hot drinks ☕️🫖
- cooking (we have two pastas and one soup on the menu)👨🍳
- doing the deliveries, washing the dishes, tables 🍽
- maintaining the restaurant and kitchen clean
- refilling products as needed 🧃🥤
Experience in gastronomy welcomed, not required.
We provide meals for free while you are at work
