Marketing Manager (Iceland)

As a Marketing Manager at Wolt, you’ll be the driving force behind the growth of our business lines and the expansion of the Wolt+ user base in Iceland. You’ll turn market insights into impactful campaigns, partnerships, and experiences that bring Wolt closer to local communities while supporting our commercial growth goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Drive Market Growth: Lead marketing initiatives that drive user and revenue growth across all Wolt business lines in Iceland, including Wolt+.

  • Plan and Execute Campaigns: blending global, regional, and local initiatives into one cohesive plan that supports our business targets.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the country commercial team to align marketing activities with growth goals and performance metrics.

  • Lead Local Campaigns: Plan and execute end-to-end local campaigns (including digital, partnerships, social media, and events), ensuring creative excellence and timely delivery.

  • Partner Marketing: Build and nurture relationships with key merchant partners, developing co-marketing initiatives that deliver measurable results for both sides.

  • Regional Collaboration: Partner with regional marketing peers to brief, localize, and align on global and regional campaigns.

  • Performance & Insights: Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness — turning data into actionable insights to improve results.

  • Community Engagement: Develop authentic, locally relevant content and social activations that strengthen Wolt’s connection to Finnish audiences.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams such as PR & Communications, Performance Marketing, CRM, and Operations to deliver unified marketing efforts.

Educational and skill requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or on-demand services.

  • Proven track record of managing multi-channel campaigns — from social and digital to partnerships and local activations.

  • Strong ability to translate business goals into marketing strategies and measurable outcomes.

  • Analytical mindset with confidence in using data to optimize campaigns and guide decision-making.

  • Strategic yet hands-on — comfortable shifting between planning, execution, and performance review.

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with commercial, operations, creative, and external agency teams.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience in international or multi-market organizations is a plus.

  • A curious, open-minded, and proactive approach, with a strong sense of ownership and a “can-do” attitude.
