Skógasafn auglýsir eftir þýsku- og enskumælandi safnleiðsögumanni. Starfið felst í leiðsögn erlendra ferðamannahópa um safnið ásamt almennum skrifstofu- og afgreiðslustörfum.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur:

Háskólapróf/leiðsögumannspróf eða önnur sambærileg menntun sem nýtist í starfi

Góð kunnátta í þýsku og ensku. Önnur tungumálakunnátta mikill kostur

Þekking og áhugi á íslenskum þjóðháttum og sögu

Færni í mannlegum samskiptum

Frumkvæði, sjálfstæði og skipulögð vinnubrögð

Skógar Museum is looking for a German and English speaking guide for a temporary full-time position throughout November 2026. The work involves guiding tourist groups around the museum and general office and service work.

This is a diverse and exciting job in a good workplace. Skógar Museum is one of the largest museum in the country and also one of the most visited museum in Iceland.

Educational and qualification requirements:

University degree / guide degree or other comparable education that is useful in the job

Good knowledge in German and English. Other language skills are also a great advantage

Knowledge and interest in Icelandic folklore and history

Social skills, initiative, independence and organized work methods
